Coloring Medium Toned Skin and Dark Hair with Copics

Hello Everyone,
Welcome to my tutorial for
Color Me Copic Club
Today I will be showing what I use for
Medium Toned Skin and Dark Hair

that could be for either Hispanic, Asian, or African-Amerian....

As we are an
AMERICAN MELTING POT

I myself am Mexican and Afro American
yet when you see me at times I could pass
for Philippino, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican,
Brazilian and the list goes on and on

My family is a small melting pot as
we have
Mexican, African-American, Japanese, Polish, and
Puerto Rican in our blood for now lol

People would ask me what do you consider yourself
either Mexican or African-American
which when I was young did not know how to answer that

I was raised by my Spanish speaking Abuela (grandma/nana)
which mind you REFUSED to speak English.
She is now 87 and still refuses to speak the language
Oh don't let her fool ya - she completely understands everything you say

BTW - I am proud to speak both languages fluently - Props to Abuela.

Nevertheless we are the color of the rainbow
so who is to say what is right or wrong way to color a complexion

INGREDIENTS

Digital Image - Mo's Digital Pencil

Lahra with Carrot

Medium Skin - E00, E02, E11, E12,

New Design Team Leader--CHERYL VALADEZ !!!

Hi Everyone, I am sad to announce that Arlene has had to step back from our Design Team, but, she has agreed to stay on and we hope she can do a tutorial from time to time for us!!! Thanks for sharing your many talents Arlene!!

I am also announcing Cheryl Valadez to our Design Team. She will be helping us continue to teach and inspire our CCC members. I am excited to have her on our team to share her Copic Coloring techniques. :>

Here is her profile information and photo. On behalf of the CCC club, I welcome you Cheryl!!

Hello, my name is Cheryl and I have been a crazy stamper for roughly 14 years.  I am fortunate to live in sunny Albuquerque, NM, smack dab in the Land of Enchantment, with my wonderful husband and our 3 furry faced feline house guests.  A couple of years ago, I gave up the hum drum routine of a managerial job and now focus entirely on cardmaking and teaching card classes at the local rubber stamp store.  It’s certainly a lifestyle change, but everyday it’s a joy to wake up and spend the day at my craft desk, up to my elbows in paper, stamps, and of course, Copics ;D
Until I found Copics, I steered clear of coloring images for my cards.  I wasn’t comfortable with pencils and other types of markers didn’t quite give me the finished result I was looking for.  Now, I can’t imagine a world without color and Copics.  What a dreary place that would be!
I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with several wonderful design teams including Copic Creations, Tiddly Inks, and Bombshell Stamps.  Please stop by my blog at http://inktrap.blogspot.com and say  "hello".

FIRST SET OF COPIC COLORS

Hey Everyone,
I'm posting the first set of Copic Sketch Markers here because I know you are as excited as we are!! But, in the future, I will post them on the Face Book Group.  If you do not have a Face Book account, this is the only way you can access it, so you will have to start an account.

If you already have any of the colors, please email me at PinkScrappersBoutique@gmail.com and let me know what sketch markers you would like to substitute. I need to know this information by March 31.

So, here are the colors---E00, E000,E11,E21,E51, and R20.

Thank you!!
