Sweets For A Sweet birthday card!

Hello friends, I told you I'd be back. Now this is another image by Heather Valentin called 'Dolly Lollypop Sugarlicious Ragamuffin' available from
http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.com.au/. If you're wandering why I'm always promoting their stamps, it's simple ...they are GORGEOUS!!!! That and I'm in their Design Team, lol. They have just released a huge amount of new stamps...so, amongst some others I will be sharing with you from now on...I'll be sharing some of their fabulous new range of digis. I suggest you pop over as I can't afford to get them all and you really need to see for yourself how awesome they are. They truly have some talented artists at Scrapbook Stamp Society. I am also Guest Designer for the wonderful Martha Pineda at Creating Is Fun. She has some beautiful laces and trims in her Zibbet store. Check her out too because she's having a 50% off sale up until the end of August for her Summer clearance. Find her here http://creatingisfun.blogspot.com.au/.

Hi there everyone, Suezette back with some more cards. Did ya miss me?  Lol, sorry for the long time away. I have been here, but I have been very busy with other crafts and family things. When all of that catches up to me, I just want to relax in bed with my laptop or ipad and just see what you guys have been up to. I have three cards to show you in this post and then I have to cook for the family.

For this card I wanted to use the film strip and add an array of images by the same artist. So here I have used the following stamps all by Sherri Baldy
starting from left to right :
'Birthday Surprise', 'Wendy Work Out', 'Lula Bell',
'The Gift', 'First Prom', and 'Sizzlin' Hot Summer'
All of these stamps are available from http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.com.au/
I have use black cardstock, 'Timeless' paper by Merci, doubled-sided ribbon in 'Ecru' and a ribbon buckle from my stash, the camera die by MFT and the sentiment was simply printed out from my computer.

This card was created using 'Wendy Work Out' by Sherri Baldy available from http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.com.au/. The cardstock I have used is Kraft cardstock and the papers are 'Authentique'. They were supplied by Carlene (PinkScrapper) and are available at http://www.pinkscrappersboutique.com/. The flowers are by I Am Roses.

This stamp is a new one from http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.com.au/
and it's called 'Sexy Lil Devil'
and is from the 'Naughty Girl' collection by Heather Valentin.
Isn't she just amazing!

With this card I have simply used black cardstock and paper from the Kaisercraft 'Black & White' Timeless paper pad. I have used double-sided satin ribbon in red and a red rose from my stash.

O.k. guys, dinner's ready time to go and dish it up! I will be back to post another card :)

Flirty Anya for July

Hey all!

Here is my July DT entry for the Color Me Copic Club. Carlene was gracious enough to send the Design Team members a full paper pack by Echo Park called Victoria Gardens. Here it is so you can see all the gorgeous papers inside. If you notice there is a sticker on the cover with her e-mail, so if you are interested in ordering from her or joining the ColorMeCopicClub, shoot her an e-mail.
I choose three papers out of the pack and then choose to use Flirty Anya from the Greeting Farm because it has been so long since I used her and I think she is adorable!!!
Then I went about choosing which Copics to use. I use the Copic Marker Chart to keep track of the colors I have so I put the papers I picked out against the chart to choose what number markers would match my papers, super easy! These are the colors I used.
The of course you have to choose some flowers! I love putting flowers on cards but I never seem to have the right shade of a color. Now that I use Copics I mostly keep white flowers on hand because I know I can use the Copics to match my project, again, super easy! So, the white flowers you see in the Recollections pack above where colored with Y15 for the middle and Y00 for the petals. I felt this was perfect matching to bring the yellow of the card base forward.
Now here is the finished card! I did not put a sentiment per se because I choose a design paper from the Echo Park pack that had a sentiment entitled AMAZING on it.  AND, as you can see, I paper pieced her dress. I wanted to repeat the patterned color concept that I had going on with the panels in the background. I hope you like my card for this month. See ya on Facebook!
Thanks for following along...

Halloween #1

Hello everyone. Suezette here to share with you my latest creation.
I love this card in all it's creepiness. The image is called
Halloween #1 and it's by Morgan Fitzsimons . This image is available at
http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.com.au/. I place the image on a 6x6 card (black).
I wanted it to look like she had the ground around exposing her and obviously the
creepy crawlies that once feasted on her coming out of the ground. To achieve this I
used course gravel and mixed it with PVA glue. The bugs I had to colour in aswell because they were orange and green and different bright, unrealistic colours. I placed them as though they were coming out and then waited a day for it to dry. I dreamt
about this darn card too. I was pleasantly surprised to find it had dried the way I
intended and went ahead and painted it in Raw Umber acrylic paint. As the card is extremely 'top heavy', I backed both sides with medium weight chipboard. Then
covered the top with black braided trim. I used Copics as usual to colour my image.

I hope you all have a great day! xx

Fade To White (with a twist)

O.k....I did say it was gonna be creepy. Please understand that this card was not made for anybody, nor was it created to offend anybody under any circumstance. I did this as I saw something that could be on the 'flip side' to a very lively and pretty card. I love how it came out as I know that there was nothing malicious behind it. The image is 'Fade To White' by Mitzi Sato-Wiuff and can be purchased from

Fade To White

Good afternoon all. It's Suezette back again. Today I decided I was going to colour this image in two different ways. The pretty way and a more creepy sort of way. I haven't finished creepy yet, however, it'll give you something to come back for won't it? This image is called 'Fade To White' and it's by Mitzi Sato -Wiuff available from http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.com.au/. The cardstock I used is American Craft in 'Peony' and the paper, ribbon and ribbon buckle are from my stash. The flowers are by I Am Roses and I'm using the leaf punch by E K Success.

Cameo 1A (pin cushion & card)

Hey there everyone. It's Suezette...I apologise for not being here lately. I have been really busy with family and then I do a bit of crafting and family again. Oh, I'm tired. It's as simple as that. Now that the school holidays are here ( for 2 weeks anyway) I'll be able to get stuck into some projects.
I have had birthdays. Which means cards and parties aswell.
May and June are always going to be hectic for me.
Anyway, I have created an 'ensemble' if you like. A 4 1/4H x 5 1/4W pin cushion and a 6x7 card. I have made these in four colours and with each colour, I have used a different image. These images are absolutely stunning and so pleasant to colour, whether your preference is Copics, Prismas or any of the many different media available out there. I made a different pin cushion and somebody asked about the price. The cameo that I used was very pricey, so I thought about what I could do to bring the price down. That and the fact that the store that the cameo originally came from, didn't supply them anymore. :(
These gorgeous images are available to be purchased from
I will post all four images and tell you the names and the copics used.
If you would like to purchase any of these,
contact me and I'll let you know about prices.
